Bodybuilding. Part-2. The advantages of natural methods of bodybuilding
Natural bodybuilding techniques are those methods that allow you to build muscles without artificial and often illegal substances. The most common class of artificial substances used for this purpose are anabolic steroids which, despite strong warnings from health officials, continue to be used by bodybuilders, those who want to see faster training results.

Terrible risk of taking steroids. Health risk of steroid abuse

Anabolic steroid is a artificial male hormone testosterone. Is a male hormone, and this drug increases strength, energy and muscle mass.

Bodybuilders and other athletes are addicted to steroids because of the anticipated increase muscle mass in a very short period of time. (In General, those who take steroids, you can build much more muscle mass compared to those who strictly follow a natural bodybuilding techniques).

But the health risks associated with steroid use cannot be overstated.

Some of these risks include:

Heart attack. It has been proven that steroids have at least 3 different harmful effects on the heart:

(a) they can lower the good type of cholesterol (HDL) and raise the bad type of cholesterol (LDL) in the blood.

(b) they can raise blood pressure and

(c) they can literally damage the heart by increasing left ventricle.

The tendency of the steroid to increase the prostate, and thus the likelihood of prostate cancer.

Sexual impotence.

Cirrhosis of the liver

Infertility.

These and many other harmful effects on health abuse of steroids (including death), to deliver, before choosing this method over natural bodybuilding techniques. But there is another aspect to consider.

Steroids was a temporary fix

Despite their vaunted ability to quickly pump up the muscles of an athlete, steroids have another reputation that is known not to all — they are a temporary measure.

Indeed, the muscle that steroids build quickly, also rapidly reduce the volume, once it stops taking steroids, say experts.

This is why so many athletes suffer from long-term steroid abuse — to maintain their muscles, they must continue taking this synthetic substance. Continued steroid abuse then leads to higher risks of adverse health effects.

It is significant that the only benefit of steroids is a temporary advantage, but this advantage carries with it serious (and often irreversible) consequences on the physical and sometimes emotional health of the consumer.
